With great service and excellent food and coffee, who needs Costa? Visitors are frequently enamoured with the quaint eatery, marvelling at its pristine white tablecloths and fine chinaware. The soup of the day’s delicious and the tea is served in proper teacups, the way it should be. The serving staff are extremely pleasant and helpful, and the arrangement of the exquisite cakes is Instagram perfect. Pets are readily catered for; bring a dog and staff will bring out a water bowl for it, while gluten-free eaters will find a selection of cakes and bakes to their taste. The cakes may be moist and moreish, but the coffee house also provides a full menu, complete with cooked breakfasts (available all day) and mouth-watering mains that include steak pie, haddock, scampi and chilli con carne.
